Thrifty car hire company recently opened their 21st UAE branch at Ras al-Khaimah

Thrifty Car Rental recently opened their 21st outlet in the United Arab Emirates, setting up shop in Ras al-Khaimah as the town's first rental agency.

Thrifty already operates in a number of locations across the Emirates including the Jebel Ali free Zone, Dubai Airport Free Zone and the Dubai Media City and the company has plans to expand its reach even further.

Mr. Rahul Singh, the company's general manager said that demand for car rentals was coming from tourists, business travelers and expatriates. 'In the recent past, we have been witnessing an increased level of interest in our products and services from the Ras al-Khaimah region and with planned increase in business activity in the Emirates, we strongly believe that RAK will be an integral part of our growth story in the next few years', Singh said. 'Not only will this move help cater to the companies located in the Free Zone, but also provide car rental services to the tourists, residents and business executives of the Ras al-Khaimah region.'

In Ras al-Khaimah, Thrifty will be offering a range of vehicles for long term lease or for short term hire including economy cars like the Honda Civic and the Chevrolet Lumina, as well as luxury cars.

Thrifty operates in 1,100 locations in a total of 64 countries across the globe.
