Car hire firm Europcar is advising consumers to make reservations well in advance of the Christmas holiday this year.
Car hire firm Europcar is advising consumers to make reservations well in advance of the Christmas holiday this year.
Officials from the rental giant said this week that the Christmas is typically one of the busiest periods in the year for car hire and that by reserving in advance that customers will be able to secure a better rate.
Managing director Ken McCall said on behalf of Europcar UK Group that the company is already seeing high demand over the Christmas and New Year period. He went on to add that in addition to securing the best prices that those booking ahead of time can make sure they can get the right car for their needs.
Europcar offers a wide range of vehicle options and just recently introduced van hire. The company currently operates more than 200 locations around the UK, with dozens located at major airports.
Mr McCall noted that Christmas is a particularly demanding time of the year for individuals and families. He said with so much shopping and running around that it's important to make sure that you’re armed with a car that is reliable and able to accommodate the whole family in terms of size.
