Europcar has added the Volkswagen Golf VII to its rental fleet in the United Kingdom.
Europcar has added the Volkswagen Golf VII to its rental fleet in the United Kingdom.
Officials from the car hire firm said in a press release issued last week that the VW model provides improved space, fuel efficiency and power for rental customers. In addition, it also features Bluetooth connectivity, DAB digital radio and USB ports, according to the release.
As well as the Golf VII, Volkswagen S models will also be available at UK outlets by the end of March, officials said.
Europcar UK Group’s managing director Ken McCall said in a statement that the Golf is among motorists’ “perennial favourites” and that he was confident that the latest version of the model would be a much-welcomed addition to the company’s fleet. He went on to add that the seventh generation of the Golf provides “new levels of comfort”, as well as the latest in styling and technology.
The news comes just after the company’s special Mother’s Day offering, in which customers were encouraged to treat their mum to a luxury rental from the Europcar Prestige line-up. Those taking advantage of the scheme were able to secure special rates with discounts of up to 30 per cent off, according to an official press release.
