Car hire firm Avis has announced it will soon carry MG6 models from UK car maker MG.
The company said in a press release this week that it had taken delivery of about 100 of the MG6 Magnette sports saloons and GT fastbacks, which in the coming weeks will be available for hire for business travels, holidays and other trips.
MG says that both cars boast the company’s legendary driving dynamics and feature 1.8-litre turbocharged engines. The vehicles are created and built at the company’s base in Birmingham, beginning with design and testing and eventually final assembly. Additionally, among cars in their class, the MG6 models have the lowest available insurance group ratings. Pricing for the vehicles begins at £15,495.00.
Avis’ UK commercial director Anthony Ainsworth said that his company was “extremely pleased” to feature the new MG products and added that he knew many customers would be delighted to make use of the top rated and locally produced vehicles.
Similarly, Guy Jones, sales and marketing director for MG Motors UK, said that his firm was proud that an important car hire firm such as Avis was promoting the MG6 as an important part of their fleet.
